Please note:  Before purchasing this product the Radio Software level needs to be checked,  with the radio off, press and hold the TRACKDOWN and the DISC UP buttons and then push the POWER button.  Keep all buttons pressed until the S/W screen appears and then read the first line _AHU VERSION. Version 9 radios start with 9.xx.

WHY DO WE NEED TO KNOW THIS?

NON Version 9 stereo's were not designed for a reverse camera input. Using ASL's reverse camera kit, a reverse camera can be achieved when the vehicle is placed into reverse gear via the Video Input. Although this design is not ideal, it does allow vehicles from 2007 - 2009 to achieve a reverse camera.
NOTE: WILL NOT WORK WITH VERSION 4.XX STEREOS THAT HAVE REVERSE SENSORS
