Focal Flax Subwoofer with Box to suit Nissan Y62 Patrol

Upgrade your Nissan Y62 Patrol's audio experience with our meticulously curated Focal Flax Subwoofer. 

Y62 Patrol Sub Box
Product is a 10" Shallow sub box to suit Y62 patrol.  Works to upgrade factory sub-woofer in models with premium audio or add a sub for models with standard audio. Box is crafted from 5mm ABS with an 18mm MDF top, carpeted in 3mm black. Mounts using an M6 bolt through the back of the box into factory thread location and a right angle bracket at base of box.  Very simple installation, please view images to see installed box.

We highly recommend using a good quality sound deadener all around the sub location to prevent rattles after installation.

The subwoofer we normally use is a Kenwood KFC-WPS1000 shallow however the Kicker and Rockford shallow options should also fit without issue as there is approx 85mm of usable depth.

Focal P 25 FSE
This flax cone has been exclusively made in France by Focal since 2013. With its original design, it is 100% geared towards acoustic performance. This sandwich cone is formed of a flax fibre core placed between two thin sheets of glass fibre. Flax is a fibre with the unique ability to reproduce a very natural sound without colouration, with a rich reproduction in the midrange and clear bass strokes. Its lightness offers great dynamics, while its rigidity sustains the bass and provides good damping to deliver a faithful listening experience. Flax fibre is twice as light as glass fibre as it is hollow. Its very low elasticity makes it ideal for increasing the flexural rigidity module of a sandwich structure.
