Overview

The Baintech BTDCM003 is a surface mount double DC 12V LCD volt meter: two independent digital volt meters set side by side in one compact black PVC housing. It is a basic, no-fuss way to check battery voltage at a glance, with no bells and whistles and no big price tag, and with two meters you can watch two batteries at once, such as the starting battery and the auxiliary battery in a dual battery setup.

Each meter reads 10 to 20V DC and shows a clear direct readout with 0.2V resolution. The meters have no polarity limitations, so they read correctly whichever way they are connected, and the connection direction is also how the backlight is switched on or off. Current draw is very low, at 8mA with the backlight on and just 3.2mA with it off.

The meters are IP65 rated for harsh, wet, hot or dusty environments, and the high-grade PVC surface mount housing fits onto a flat surface with no panel cut-out needed. Compact, affordable and easy to self-install, it suits caravans, camper trailers, 4WDs, canopies, boats and other 12V battery systems.

Important Information

• Each meter is rated for 10 to 20V DC, so it suits 12V battery systems only.
• Connect each meter to the battery you want it to monitor: one lead to positive (+) and one to negative (-). Swapping the leads turns the backlight on or off.
