Introducing BassRev – Born from Alpine’s decades-long expertise in acoustic engineering, featuring all-new HEDGE technology to deliver controlled bass frequencies while preserving Alpine’s signature clarity and precision.

BassRev redefines audio component design through all-new Alpine technology and engineering. The exclusively designed polypropylene cone is extremely robust and lightweight, which further unites with Alpine’s all-new HEDGE surround and dense Magnet structure to achieve increased sound pressure and excursion of the woofer diaphragm, resulting in precise control, punchy sound and deep bass at high SPL.

Developed with 1” soft dome tweeters, BassRev yield a stunningly detailed yet smooth upper harmonic range. The Polyester low-mass tweeter diaphragm combined with Neodymium magnets ensures high frequencies are articulated with precision.

With an extensive range of component and coaxial speakers, the new BassRev Series is an extremely versatile speaker line-up, allowing for direct factory speaker replacement in a wide variety of vehicles.

BassRev 2-Way 4″ Component Speaker Set

BRV-S40C is the 2-Way Component Speaker model of the all-new for 2025 BassRev Series speaker collection. Featuring a 4-Inch woofer, and a 1-Inch tweeter with up to 20kHz frequency response. Suitable for replacement of many factory speakers.

HEDGE Surround

Alpine’s all-new HEDGE surround structure (High Excursion Design Gathered Edge) is engineered to dramatically increase sound pressure, allowing maximum bass performance in the 67Hz – 120Hz range. BRV-S40C Can achieve a maximum linear excursion peak of 20mm and as a result, delivers powerful, deep bass you’ll be sure to feel.

Polypropylene (PP) Woofer Cone

Lightweight, yet incredibly rigid, BRV-S40C employs a Polypropylene woofer cone that resists resonance and unwanted vibrations. Engineered for peak performance, BRV-S40C maintains structural integrity even at high excursion levels allowing for smooth, clean, and balanced sound reproduction.

Large Driver Magnets

The large Strontium Ferrite magnets housed on the back of Alpine’s BRV-S40C BassRev speakers mean business. Combined with large 25mm voice coils and Alpine’s HEDGE Surround, delivering substantially increased cone excursion and driver force providing louder, punchier sound.

Polyester & Neodymium Soft Dome Tweeters

BassRev’s Polyester low-mass tweeters reproduce subtle transients and micro-details with precision. Enjoy wide, smooth and immersive highs with prominent staging capabilities all in a compact 1″ size. BRV-S40C tweeters feature Neodymium magnets – one of the most powerful magnetic materials available. Neodymium facilitates exceptionally clean and articulate high-frequency reproduction with precision.

Seamless Tweeter Fitment in OEM Locations

You can simply remove the tweeter housing and trim ring included with the BassRev tweeter to minimise its overall size and diameter. The tweeter itself is then compact enough to fit it in many OEM tweeter locations (inside A-pillars, mirror triangles or door sail panels) for a stealth install. Preserving OEM design cues with minimal to no modification required.

BassRev components utilise Alpine’s all-new proprietary bass algorithm OPTIM™Sync, preloaded within the integrated DSP amplifier for subwoofers and accessible for BassRev speakers via the OPTIM™8 DSP Amplifier. OPTIM™Sync intelligently applies dynamic bass boost and pre-EQ tailored specifically for each BassRev audio component, safely extending low-end performance and smoothing tone to unlock their full potential.
