Overview

The Aerpro AMTCMB8 is a complete 12.3" head unit upgrade kit designed to suit Mitsubishi Triton MQ (2016-2018) non-amplified vehicles with auto climate control. It combines the Aerpro AM1205D 12.3" multimedia receiver with a vehicle-specific black facia kit and the wiring needed for the install, and keeps important factory features including steering wheel controls, USB input and the factory reverse camera (if equipped). A 720P AHD universal rear camera is also included in the kit.

The wide 12.3" capacitive touchscreen runs at 1920x720 and gives you Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless or wired, plus Bluetooth V5 for hands-free calls and audio streaming, two rear USB inputs, built-in DAB+ digital radio and an AM/FM tuner. Sound is driven by a 4 x 50W max internal amplifier with a 14-band EQ and time alignment, and the 4V 5-channel RCA pre-outs make it easy to add amplifiers later.

Important Information

• Head unit upgrade kits differ between vehicle variants. Please confirm this kit matches your exact vehicle before ordering.
• Because the 12.3" screen is wide, it may partly cover the adjacent air vents once installed.
• The AM1205D mounts into the supplied facia using the 12.3" adaptor plate that comes with the receiver.
• Only suits non-amplified vehicles with auto climate control.
• Factory reverse camera retention uses the head unit's reverse camera input.
• Factory USB retention uses the USB input on the rear of the head unit. Two USB adaptors are supplied to cover vehicle variations; only one is needed for the install and only one USB input is retained.
• The park brake wire must be connected to the vehicle's park brake for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to work.
