The system also applies Text-to-Speech (TTS) to provide detailed voice guidance messages and safely relay traffic information, flagging events and suggesting new routes based on SUNA live traffic management.

With audio, there’s no compromise: alongside high-end components, the unit integrates ourAdvanced Sound Retriever, which brings the qualities that were lost during compression back into your music.

If you prefer more muscle, 3 hi-voltage RCA outs are on tap to connect additional amplifiers, speakers and subwoofers.

You can play your tunes in virtually any format from USB, SD or CD and DVD – and enjoy DivX video from disc, too.

The Dual Zone function lets front seat passengers listen to music from one source, while rear-seat passengers can watch video from DVD or iPod on the optional rear screens.

Communications are overseen by a Parrot Bluetooth module: leave your phone anywhere in the vehicle or in your pocket and your contacts are automatically available to browse and call.

Available for your PC, iPhone and smartphone, our online AVIC Feeds PC application allows you to add POIs using Google Maps, and track and analyse journeys (useful for expenses) through the Drive Report function. Also, Eco Drive provides you with an evaluation of driving performance (including acceleration, braking and CO2 emissions) – with on-screen graphics presenting data such as fuel consumption.

By inserting an RSS feed in AVIC Feeds, you can select locations of geotagged images and add them to your unit as POIs via SD.
